All,
Last week I had my first Common Merganser of the fall and this week the
first Canvasbacks showed up. Many Ring-necked Ducks moving through the
area. A male Eurasian Wigeon remains on a private lake where it has
been for several weeks now. I haven't seen the Greater White-fronted
Goose in a few weeks but since Laura Catterton saw it last week, I'm
certain it is still around. There is a Snow Goose in with one of the
Canada Goose flocks that has been around for several weeks also. They
usually don't remain on this part of the Piedmont so I'm hoping it stays
around for The Plains CBC.
