BBC GOOSE WATCH &
CANADA GOOSE CENSUS
Did you see Barbara Walters "flapping her wings" on abc's 20/20? The
flap was all about Environmental Studies at Airlie and Sky Calypso
Society's Ballooning with Branta canadensis experiment, (BBC)
We need your help searching for the project's banded balloon geese, and
conducting a count of resident Canada geese in the area.
Environmental Studies at Airlie and the Sky Calypso Society are pleased
to be sponsoring this count with the Environmental Alliance for Senior
Involvement (EASI), as the initial event for a Fauquier County Senior
Environmental Corps. Volunteers needed! Participants can join us for a
half or whole day and all are welcome afterwards for a BBQ at Bill and
Jocelyn Sladen's home, Clifton Farm.
