Lynn and I saw a Yellow-throated Vireo along Elklick Run this morning, south of
South Riding, VA. Our only other passage migrant was a Waterthrush spp. At
eBird, I see a few other reports of YTVI in Northern Virginia, mostly from
yesterday and today.
Still plenty of White-throated Sparrows, a few Yellow-rumps, and one
Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
Summer residents included lots of singing Gnatcatchers, Prairie Warblers, and
Towhees - all very vocal.
