This evening I owe much thanks to Jeff Clark who found Evening Grosbeaks at
Waples Mill Meadow Park. Jeff and Dan Lebbin and I later saw at least 4
birds including at least one male.
A creek runs along the E side of this park. From the meadow (W) side of
the creek, look E and the birds were in high in the trees E of the creek.
Mostly in the maples, sometimes visiting the tulip poplars.
This is a Hot Spot which you can find at eBird under Explore, look for
Waples Mill Meadow Park.
