We were privileged to have the wonderful male here, seen three times of
Saturday and three times on Sunday, then, alas, no more.
Today.five members of the Middle Peninsula Bird Club went to Beaverdam and
were rewarded with 30 species, including FOS Tree Swallows and Osprey,
along with 2 eagles (one immature), Brown Thrasher, and my personal
favorite, a Brown Pelican. Oodles of coots -- so many that ebird
questioned us.
Spring is here and life is good.
