I have a set of two spreadsheets in Excel for Windows 97/2000 of the Birds of
Virginia that I can send to people individually (I don't think I can send
attachments to a listserv). It includes species recorded in Virginia through
2002, some of which aren't on the printed checklists (e. g., Black-chinned
Hummingbird, photographed at a Virginia Beach feeder this past winter, the
photos of which I have here; one will be published in the next issue of NORTH
AMERICAN BIRDS journal). I think when the RAVEN resumes publication, the
status of various species in Virginia will be clarified through the reports
of the Virginia Avian Records Committee.
