Eurasian Collared Dove -
This bird is ranging from the intersection of Longview Drive/Oliver Drive
down to the Longview Drive/Woodland Drive intersection. This area is a
fairly narrow but heavily traveled road. I was not comfortable pulling out
a tripod or even using my window mount due to the VERY close proximity of
residences. I would advise not to park in driveways. In particular, there
is an old store with a wide area to pull in BUT there is a very large "No
Trespassing" sign so I would not park there either!
This is a species that will, in the near future, be easy to see in a lot of
places so no need to overkill this one. This bird is so easy to see that I
would suggest to slowly drive through, don't bother the folks who live
there, and don't block traffic. Good birding!
