Kim Peacock, at least 7 other birders, and I should have gone to Leesylvania
today instead of Dyke Marsh. Species diversity was low and high tide precluded
a search for sandpipers at Hunting Creek. Two obliging Great Crested
Flycatchers provided close range observation, much to the delight of all.
Catbirds were everywhere. However, ducks excluding Mallards, were nowhere to
be found, and we had only 3 species of warblers. Thanks to Kim for his sharp
eyes!
