Dyke Marsh 5-12-06
Walked around island of vegetation near marina, then waked trail to
observation platform. 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Highlights were two Willow
Flycatchers on Haul Rd, past the little bridge, Baltimore Orioles singing
everywhere and carrying nest materials, Swainson's Thrush on path near
beginning. Lots of birds active around restroom area and "vegetation
island" near marina. Two Warbling Vireos attacking a Blue Jay who seemed
intent on following them from tree to tree.
