We had a nice turnout for the Dyke Marsh birdwalk Sunday morning, the 29th of
Feb.
The air was a bit cool, but the sun was out with no wind.
The river was not as interesting as it could be, with a continued lack of
ducks, no eagles, cormorants and no Feb. Osprey. Best bird of the day was a
Brown
Thrasher spotted by Connie Campanella along Haul Rd. as it scooted into the
underbrush. Minutes later, it popped up and started vocalizing and we were able
