Biology Seminar Friday Jan. 24: Dan Cristol
Please join us Friday, January 24 at 4:00 pm in Millington 150 for the opening
seminar of the Spring 2014 Biology Seminar Series! Dr. Daniel Cristol (William
& Mary) will be presenting a talk titled "Oh Shenandoah: Mercury and birds in a
changing climate." Dr. Cristol has been a faculty member of the Biology
Department for over 16 years, where his main research interest has been in
ornithology - particularly bird behavior and ecotoxicology. In the last several
years, Dr. Cristol's research has focused on mercury contamination in the
Shenandoah River Valley and its impacts on birds.
