Unfortunately I think it might be. I was out there yesterday too with Ian
Topolsky. The field on the right (north side ) of Spring Creek Road was the
field that had most of the Dickcissels when I was there on 4 July. That
field has now been cut, and it seems like many of the males have hopped the
road. Hayfield cutting is one of the most frustrating parts of piedmont
birding.
