A Pileated WP tried to go through a closed glass door at our house yesterday.
It was stunned, but eyes open and head moving. I placed it in the shade on the
deck. After about 20 - 25 min it moved to the deck rail, then to a pine close
to the deck where it stayed for almost an hour before disappearing.
