At 16:40 in heavy rain, about 2,000 Snow Geese landed on Swan Pool, Tom's Cove
and there was one Greater White-fronted Goose with them. Also saw two Merlin
during the day. Numbers of loons, Horned Grebes, Eurasian Wigeon still present,
Clapper Rail under the new boardwalk, and Lesser Black-Backed Gull on the
beach; so not a bad day in the rain.
