Hi All,
The hot, dry weather has really brought the birds to our yard stream here on
Compton Mt. I was surprised to see a male Cerulean coming in. Later I saw it
carrying food to the top of a large cherry tree at the edge of the yard.
A male Scarlet Tanager and a Chat have become regulars at the stream. A
juvenile male Redstart has also been taking advantage of the cool water.
Two juvenile Bluebirds were enjoying the water today. These are probably two
that hatched out in one of our nest boxes here in the yard
