A quick survey along the beach south of Cape Charles (Northampton
County, Eastern Shore) this morning yielded the following report. There
were more SEMI-PALMATED PLOVERS than I've seen since spring and the
first (for me) SANDERLINGS and RUDDY TURNSTONES of the southward
migration. In Oyster harbor Monday there was a lone WHIMBREL along with
the expected egrets, willets, etc.
