Hello, all--

A very cursory walk down Stribling Ave. Extended this morning yielded some
nice finds.  A more painstaking examination (i.e., one conducted without the
constraints of a squirmy 6-month-old) might have yielded even more.  Here
are the highlights:

Brown Thrasher (several, singing)
Wood Thrush (several, singing)
Blue-headed Vireo
Blue-winged Warbler
Hooded Warbler
Northern Parula
Ovenbird
Louisiana Waterthrush (pair)

All the Chimney Swifts flying overhead are also a welcome arrival as far as
I'm concerned.

Of course, the cardinals and towhees were doing their best to drown out the
more intriguing calls, but perseverance paid off.  The blue-wings were
lifers for us.
