The weekly survey (27 April) of the Hike-Bike Trail side of Huntley Meadows
yielded seven warbler species, including a singing Blue-winged Warbler, a
Black-throated Green Warbler, 3 Palm Warblers, and 7 Yellow-rumped Warblers.
Two Pine Warblers, preparing to breed, are still present in the pines adjacent
to the maintenance building. A third was heard singing in the North Marsh.  I
found 2 Ovenbirds along the Pond Trail and 7 C. Yellowthroats.

Red-eyed Vireos are all over the place (21 today), but I was delighted to hear
and then find a Blue-headed Vireo singing not more than 20 feet from the
parking lot.

Other migrants tallied included Great Crested Flycatcher (2), Wood Thrush (1),
Indigo Bunting (2), and Scarlet Tanager (1).
