Six birders walked the Farmstead Loop trail at the Blue Ridge Center for
Environmental Stewardship (incipient state park) this morning in mostly
drizzling rain and chilly temps.  We had good activity for the first hour,
then things quieted as the rain socked in.  Three of the species
(Blue-winged Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, and Baltimore Oriole) were my
personal earliest FOSs for these species in Loudoun Co. in the 20 years
I've been keeping track.  Other highlights were a Barred Owl flying through
the woods, many singing Ruby-crowned Kinglets, a singing and seen Northern
Waterthrush, and FOS Prairie Warbler.
