Today I heard and then saw a male Blackpoll Warbler on the Noland Trail of
Mariner's Museum Park in Newport News. He was in with a group of
chickadees, titmice, and pine warblers who were actively foraging in a stand
of young pine trees at the edge of Lake Maury.
