Hi,
I have been birdwatching in India for many years now
and recently came to Va.
In my front yard back home, where a bird bath was
placed, I would very commonly see Crows displaying the
same behaviour. Interestingly they would allow the
dried food stuff to soak for a longer time if it was
all dried up and if it was partially dry, would wait
nearby for it to soak up the water.
Very interesting to note the similarity in this kind
of behaviour!!!
