The annual Friends of Huntley Meadows Park Birds and Bagels walk, let by
yours truly, took place on Sunday.  We had 52 species, including world-class
views of a snipe (as well as solitary, spotted, and least, all within 15 feet
of the boardwalk).  Also, 8 species of warbler, including a prothonotary
singing just before the boardwalk (others were parula, magnolia,
black-throated blue, blackpoll, redstart, ovenbird (singing six feet over our
heads), and yellowthroat).
