Hello all
This morning I took off for the Swoope area in hopes of finding some migrants
that dropped in during the rain storm that hit our area last night . After what
I found in the way of migrating Sparrow's , I started to check out the ponds
for shorebirds . High lights of todays migrants were 79 + Savannah Sparrow ,
one Swamp Sparrow , Semipalmated Plover , 2 Am. Golden -- Plover , Forster's
Tern & one Green -- winged Teal . Below is a list of todays migrants & the
areas that they were found in .
Swoope area Rt . 707 Livick's Road
E. Phoebe -- 3

Barn Swallow -- 17
Yellow Warbler -- 1 HY
Black -- throated Blue -- 1 HY

Great Blue Heron -- 1
Wood Duck -- 2 adults & 6 young just learning to fly
Semipalmated Plover -- 1
Killdeer -- 5
Solitary Sandpiper -- 1
Spotted -- 1
Semipalmated Sandpiper -- 5
Tree Swallow -- 100 +
No. Rough -- winged -- 5
Cliff -- 7
Barn Swallow --- 100+

Am . Golden Plover -- 2 The odd thing is that I had A G Plover , Killdeer ,
Horn Lark all in the scopes view at one point of observation .
