In hopes of seeing Grasshopper Sparrows, Dickcissels, and Summer Tanagers, I
ventured down to the Wilna Unit of the Rappahannock River Valley NWR near
Warsaw. I wasn't disappointed. On the road up to the office I saw my FOY
Grasshopper Sparrow. The Summer and Scarlet Tanagers, Cedar Waxwings, and
numerous Red-bellied W/P, as well as other species, were found in the mulberry
trees to the side and back of the office. I finally found a Dickcissel on the
road down to the pond.
