Had two birds at my feeder this morning that I can't ID after consulting
4 different sources. They looked exactly like red-winged blackbirds,
but there was no red at all on their wings, just a thin white bar where
the red would be. The closest thing I can find that looks like them is
a lark bunting, but they weren't like buntings, and those shouldn't be
in this area anyway.
BTW, got a great picture earlier in the week of a peregrine falcon
perched within arms length of my main feeder. He was here last year
also, and last Saturday when walking through the yard I found a pile of
feathers and wondered if he might be back.
