We stopped by the Beaverdam Reservoir this morning, about 10:00 AM. From the
east side, we saw a large flock of Common Mergansers, many Ring-billed Gulls
and we had great views of a Bald Eagle. He was first soaring over the water,
then perching in a tree on the opposite shore. On the other side of the
reservoir, at the end of Reservoir Road, we spotted two Golden-crowned Kinglets
among a flock of Yellow-rumped Warblers.
