I went and checked out Back Bay today to see if there was good shorebird
habitat , no luck there the water lvl is just a bit high . I did see lots of
Herons and Egrets this trip tho which I was pleased to see. Some highlights
included 4 Tricolored Heron , 2 adult White Ibis and 17 Imm. , 2 Cattle Egret .
Good numbers of Glossy Ibis , Snowy Egret and Great Egret were also present .
I spoke with Fenton Day and he mentioned he had 5 American Avocet at Hog Island
NWR on Sunday.
