I stopped by Burke lake for about an hour this afternoon. I did not find the
Little Gull.
I did find lots of Bonaparte’s and Ring-billed gulls, an astounding number of
Tree Swallows, one, probably two, Loons in breeding plumage, what appeared to
be a Red-breasted Merganser, and some Cormorants.
It was chilly and windy.
I plan to try again in a day or two.
