Good morning, Virginia birders:
Bob Ake just called me from the Kiptopeke hawk-watching platform. The
Ash-throated Flycatcher, reported yesterday by Sam Stuart, is still there. Bob
first spotted it at 9:15 AM and he said it seems to be in no hurry to leave. As
he was speaking to me, the flycatcher was perched on the roof of the picnic
pavilion. Bob also said that a few Tree Swallows had been around, but no Cave
Swallows, yet.
