Mark Johnson found 4 AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS this morning (4/6/17) around 0830
at Mill Creek Lake in Amherst Co where Rt 778 (Lowesville Rd) crosses Mill
Creek. I dashed out there and found them around 0910 in the cove on the right
hand side of the bridge as you are facing the lake. Got a few pics and watched
them until about 0930. They were still in the cove when I left. This is a first
county and first Lynchburg area record.
