7 birders on a RAS Field Trip ventured forth for almost 3 hrs. this am. It
was pretty quiet migrant-wise - lots of Blackpolls and killer looks at a
silent Grey-cheeked Thrush were the most notable. Only 8 Warbler species, the
rest other than the Blackpolls and a few lingering Yellow-rumps, being
breeders, 1 Balt. oriole, no Tanagers or Grosbeaks. Still, 40 species seen
and heard.
