This Wednesday, April 12th, Todd Day will lead a bird walk at the
Environmental Studies field station. Because of my ineptitude, we will be
meeting at 8 am. If you like to sleep in, this is the bird walk for you!
(Next month we will start at 7 am!) Experienced birders are encouraged to
join us and enjoy this opportunity to bird the fields, woodlands and
wetlands of the 900 acre field station. Novice birders are welcome, too!
Todd will provide plenty of insight on finding and identifying birds.
Binoculars, field guide or app recommended. There will be plenty of hiking,
so please wear appropriate footwear. Water bottles are encouraged. Guests
are welcome to bring a bag lunch to enjoy after the walk.
