12 birders met at Huntley at 7am, the weather was perfect cool, calm and sunny.
Temperature started at about 70 F and by 9 am was 80 F. We enjoyed many young
barn swallows, it seemed almost every stick in the marsh has a barn swallow on
it. Tree and northern rough-winged swallows were flying over the marsh with
chimney swifts a little higher in the sky. A few confrontations between
swallows and eastern king birds took place. 39 species.
