45 undermined our response to this issue. . . and refused to lead any
coordinated public response to it. He also set a very poor example by his

It is interesting that the Pest seems to believe that the pandemic has gone
down so long because of whatever actions various government agencies have tried
to take to protect the public. If a significant percentage of the public had
not gone out of their way to undercut common sense by not wearing masks and by
gathering in large groups because they do not believe in any danger less
visible than an oncoming train in a railroad tunnel, we would have a lot fewer
dead and the conditions for opening schools would have been met a lot sooner.
But it's them dang government types who are causing our children to suffer.
Reagan was right, of course, about the most terrifying sentence in the English
