Yup, corruption, cronyism, general favoritism. The biggest difference between
45 and Zuma is that, so far, Zuma is going to jail and 45 hasn't been brought
up on criminal charges. Both called their followers into the streets. 45's
sycophants were stopped on January 6 without significant civilian involvement,
unlike South Africa's. Of course, the civilian population of this country has
been turning the rioters in, even as their "representatives" have been
protecting their "dear Leader" in Washington. It is starting to look as though
the public in both nations is crying "enough."Eric
