How many times have you received a poll "asking what you think" or asking you
to "provide guidance" to a political group?  The questions are designed to
elicit the answers the "pollsters" want you to provide.  These questions are
called push polls.
The next step is invariably asking for a contribution.  Both sides do it.  Have
you ever seen the answers of these "polls" reported.  The questioners only care
about money and affirmation.  They want to guilt you into supporting them.
Among other things, they all play from the same script, often using the same
words for breaking news that happens to be several days or more old.
