Subject: SPAM-LOW: The State Budget FY-21-22 has passed!
Dear All,
Thank you for all of your help advocating for New York's elders and for
StateWide's programs during this budget season.
As you may know, the legislature and the governor reached a budget agreement
yesterday.
Our MCCAP and Patients Right funding renewed for April 1, 2021 - March 31,
2022. Our members and community has endured a lot during this past year, and
it was very satisfying that the policymakers recognized that. But that would
not have happened without your efforts at informing the community and making
calls and making your voices heard.
As always, there will be a budget analysis and more advocacy to be done for
the legislative session which begins soon.
But I wanted to thank all of your for your continued support and commitment to
StateWide and our mission.
