Syd was laying in her quarters and couldn't sleep. No matter how hard
she tried, sleep would evade her. She decided there was no point in trying to
fight it and instead she got up and made herself something to drink and went to
sit on the couch and put her drink on the coffee table. The last 48 hours had
been a whirlwind and she felt like Dorothy in the old Earth Story, "The Wizard
of OZ" She was on some magical trip and didn't know how to or if she even
wanted it to stop.
The more she thought about it, the more surprised she was that
anything at all had happened between her and Giya. In reality nothing should've
happened. After all he was her superior officer and her boss. This would no
doubt bring up all kinds of problems for them, but for some reason it didn't
seem like a problem at all. ,
She was still sitting on the couch when after an unknown amount of
time she apparently fell asleep because her head was laying awkwardly on her
shoulder. She also must have been dreaming because of the small amount of drool
that happens when you fall asleep so deeply that you don't realize it.
The last thing she remembered was Giya holding her in the holodeck by
the fire. He had taken his jacket off and wrapped it around her to keep her
warm from the night air. She has awoke with a start only to realize that he was
still there and hadn't moved. His muscles had to be sore. Syd got up and
stretched for a bit, knowing full well that he was watching her. Then she
walked over to him and began to give him a massage.
She started first at his neck, Mercy his neck was tight. She had to
unbutton the buttons on his uniform just to get her hands around his neck so
she could loosen up those tight muscles. Little by little they became looser.
To help them along she would occasionally, lean over and give him small gentle
kisses on the neck and moving up his chin until she reached his mouth and then
she teased him with little nips until he pulled her toward him and they kissed
each other with a passion neither realized they had. Syd pulled away and Giya
looked confused.
"Syd, did I do something wrong? If so I am sorry. Please tell me what
I did."
"Oh Giya, you didn't do anything. I am the one supposed to be giving
you the massage and pleasing you. I realize that I may not have as much
experience as you so you will have to be patient with me. Now let me finish my
massage."
"Syd, I have a better Idea. We still have time blocked out on the
Holodeck so why don't we go use it? We could just sit and talk, nothing else. I
am not going to push you when you are not ready and after you told me what had
happened to you in your past, I don't think you are ready. So we are going to
take things nice and slow. You set the pace. I am not in any hurry as long as I
have you my by side and I know you love me."
"Oh Giya, you know I love you. You are my body and soul. Without you
I am nothing. I am just 206 bones and a bunch of muscles and ligaments. With
you I am alive, I am breathing again and feeling things I never felt before.
Just promise me that you won't ever leave me."
"Syd, you don't ever have to worry about me leaving you. You are now
apart of me as I am a part of you. Together we are one and shall always be one
in love forever."
