For a solid two hours, Lukas kept the Eagle's Wing flying over the ruins of what once was a proud, thriving, Rigellian city.  He went from one end to the other, flying in north-sount patterns, then east-west.  Ensign Banning would carefully scan the rubbles below, looking for any signs of life.  As he found them, he would relay to one of the three shutttles from the Eagle.  On occasion, they would set down, if there wasn't an available shuttle, and pull survivors from the rubble themselves.
"Cadet Styles to Commodore Fyrstk," came the voice of Lukas's adopted son, over his comm badge.
"Fyrstk here," Lukas said, tapping his badge.
"Sir, the fleet is arriving,  The McCoy is among them."
"Acknowledged, Ens.... Cadet," Lukas said.  Even after almost two years, Lukas still thought of Malachi as his acting ensign.  "Keep the McCoy in a centralahzed orbit, and spread the aiding ships out to cover more of the urban areas.  They were hit the hardest.
:Coordinate with the sick bays of both the Eagle and the Sutherland, and start getting patients transferred to the McCoy.  That will free up both ships for other duties, if needed."
"Aye, sir.  I will get right to it.  Styles out."

Lukas smiled.  It was good to hear his boy, again.  He banked the captain's yacht starboard bringing it back over the city.
"I am picking up some more life signs from the rubbble thirty degrees to srarboard, sir," Banning said.  "No other shuttles are available."
"Very well, Ensign," Lukas said.  He piloted the ship over to the area mentioned and found as clear a spot as he could to set down.  "Let's get to work."
