Personal Profile:
Dubbed one of the "Avalon Kids", Grace was born on the USS Avalon-B during a
strange baby boom. She lived on the Avalon-C until she was five years old at
which point her mother and step-mother moved back to Earth. A year after
arriving in Cardiff, Wales Grace's now adoptive mother gave birth to her
brother John Alan. She and her brother were very close despite the six year age
difference. Grace's father wasn't around very much during her childhood and his
presence became nearly non-existent after a failed attempt at suing her mother
for sole custody shortly after her mother's marriage.
As a teenager Grace could be found most often walking the cliffs over looking
the coast that was close to her home. In school she excelled in History and
cultural study classes and tended to take on leadership roles that seemed to
come easily to her. It wasn't until she'd spent a week on her adoptive mother's
ship for a week long tiger cruse that Grace finally decided to follow her
parents into Star Fleet.
After graduation from the Academy Grace was posted to the Federation Council as
a cultural attaché to the Betazoid Ambassador. After the Ambassador's
retirement Grace opted not to work for the new incoming Ambassador, but instead
opted to take a position at the Federation Embassy on the Trill homeworld. It
was while working on Trill that Grace met Ronen Kjell, a joined Trill who
worked at the Embassy. Two years after their first meeting they were married.
After her marriage and a promotion Grace was able to split her time between
Trill and Earth, until she was offered a position aboard the USS Goodall. Five
years after being assigned to the USS Goodall, Grace returned to the Trill
homeworld on an LOA after her husband became ill. Ronen Kjell died four months
later.
Shortly before leaving Trill Grace married Jun Kjell, a Star Fleet officer and
Kjell's new host. The marriage lasted a year before Jun decided he wasn't in
love with Grace and that he could no long play along for Kjell. The couple
divorced.
Grace had a steady career and was one of the few offered command of a ship
before they were forty. She was a bit surprised, but pleasantly so, to find out
that someone had assigned all the "Avalon Kids" to her new ship.
Psychological Profile:
Grace is for the most part a level headed woman with strong convictions and a
deeply honest and caring soul. The only thing that worries me is that she never
fully grieved the loss of her first husband, nor the loss of the Trill, Kjell,
after her divorce from it's Jun host. I do not however see this as being an
issue that would affect her work at this time.

Grace is in good health for a female of her combined species and age. She tends
to have headaches from time to time due to her extremely limited Betazoid
abilities, and her blood pressure tends to run rather high when she's stressed.
