[USS Athena] Getting Started

Jazmine sat at her desk and went over the reports from the last week.
Things had been busy since the Eagle left. Tensions between the Rihannsu
and the Starfleet Officers did appeared to be going well. Most of the crew
that stayed behind on the ship did so of their own choosing, at least for
the federation officers. The Rihannsu appeared to be doing well now that
they knew what their government wanted and expected from them. Even the
ones who resented being left behind were doing better then they had been
before they knew. At least, that is what the reports from Counselor Damaris
said.
Jazmine knew that some of the federation officers that choose to stay
were not overly thrilled with the new dress style. However, they were
adjusting admirably and from what Jazmine had seen, she had one of the best
crews in the fleet. And she wasn't thinking of just the federation
officers, she thought of the Rihannsu as part of her crew.
Now things were starting to settle down and they were getting into more
of a rhythm. Jazmine figured now was as good of time as any to start the
mission they had been sent out here to do. The first thing she needed to do
was call a senior officers meeting. She sent out a message to all senior
officers, indicating that the meeting would take place later today at 1600
hours. From there, they would make the decision on where the ship would
head. There were plenty of promising places for them to explore.
