HI David,
My advice would be to play chess on the FCS (Free Chess Server) using
winboard as this is usable by a blind person. I havent used this for a while
so my skill levels for this type of approach are poor these days.
Regards,
Mark.

Subject: [usbca_chess] just created an account on chess.com, so looking for
accessibility advice for playing
Hi, everyone.
I just created an account on chess.com. So, I'm looking for any advice
you all may have on navigating the environment for playing live games.
e.g. How do I choose/select time controls? How do I get the moves to
show for me so JAWS can read them? How do I find out my initial
rating?
Any tips/advice you all can give will be very helpful.
All the best in chess,
David
