Below my signature is a game I played against a live opponent on
Lichess this morning. I've played this guy before and scored pretty
well with the Guioco Piano. So, to keep him on his toes, I I played
the King's Indian Attack.
The take-aways I glean from this prior to your comment are a. When a
pawn keeps the tension between a rook and the opponents queen, leave
him there while building up other pressure. If exchanges can be denied
to gain an advantage in the middlegame, let them instead of trying to
trade down. And, after reflecting that I could have ended the game
three or four moves sooner than I did, be alert for moments when you
can go for the kill.
Now, along with any other critiques, I'd be curious if you might also
see where my prior opportunity to checkmate black's K comes up. Enjoy.
