Hi Chess Lovers,
This time, I am the Tournament
Director.
My email address is jamesrslagle@xxxxxxxxx.
You are invited to play in the
World
Chess Parlor Tournament.
This time, to
enter,
you must promise to get at least 2
Good Citizen points by
the end of Round 3 and a total of at
least 4 GC points by the end of Round 5.
Usually this means that you will be
the
third-person timekeeper for at least
one game by the
end of Round 3.
If you have not received at least 2
GC
points, you will be removed from the
Tournament.
If you do not have a chess clock, you
can write our FTP list, and ask for
someone to show you how
to use a software chess clock.
Probably, someone will help you.
Similarly, you must have at least 4 GC
points by the end of Round 5.
This will mean that probably many of
your games will have a third party timekeeper.
All are welcome to play.
You arrange to play
your games at a time and
date convenient
to
you.
We can work
around
your
schedule, even if you
are going to be
unavailable durng the tournament
for a
week or so.
A game usually
lass a
couple of
hours.
The full rules wil be emailed
with the Round 1 pairings.
To enter this free
tournament, simply e-mail ftp-chess@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
by Saturday at 23:00 UTC or GMt.
Before you enter this tournament
you
must get a Skype account, if
you do not have one.
You must also be a
member
of our group, ftp-chess@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
.
To join this group send an email
to ftp-chess-subscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
.
You must speak at least a
little
English or have someone who can
help
you with your English.
You can play using Skype or
freechess.org.
The permanent list will not be used
for
this tournament.
Also, you are invited to attend
our World Chess Parlor Club
Meeting on
the first Saturday
in June in the Chess
Parlor

for-the-people.com

evrything is free!
We can tell you how
you
can get free chess lessons,

to arrange a game,
please attend the
meeting.
Our voice chat
