Dear friends,
We are very pleased to invite you to the 2019 French chess Championship for
blind and visually impaired players.
When?
Welcoming of the participants on Wednesday May 29 between 14 and 18 hours.
The championship ends on Sunday June 2 after breakfast.
Where?
The championship will take place on:
Centre de Vacances CCAS, 34300 Cap d'Agde (Héraut).
Schedule:
The tournament will be a 7 rounds Swiss, and the time control will be 1h30
for each player for the whole game, plus 30s of increment for each move.
The first round will be played on Wednesday evening, then there will be one
round every morning, from 9 to 13, and one round every afternoon, from 15 to
19 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Players must bring an adapted chessboard, a clock, and a system to keep
track of the moves.
Prizes:
There will be at least a total amount of money prizes of 600 euros, plus
cups and other prizes.
The prize ceremony will take place just after the last round.
Registration fee:
The registration fee is 40 euros for adults, and 20 euros for youngsters
(born after 31/12/1998). The fee for AEPA members is 20 for adults and 10
for youngsters.
Board and lodging from Wednesday May 29 (dinner) to Sunday June 2
(breakfast):
260,00 euros per person. The prize for single or double room is the same.
