As for Bob Rathbun, he's still on our USBCA roster.
As for getting articles, et al in elecgttronic text adapted for us so
we can learn the diagrammed positions, I've wondered the same thing.
Some authors of chess podcasts and books are better than others.
Often, I listen to podcasts that are going through full games such as
by Eugene Perlsteen, Josh Waitzkin, and occasionally a few others.
And, of course, Paul Benson's sSunday teaching sessions are awesome.
So neat that the folks texted you your pairings. That must have been a
real help since sometimes the pairings are in an entirely different
location than the playing area. Of course, for adrenaline rush seekers
like me before rounds, I kind of get a kick out of checking out the
pairings and hearing the banter. *grin* But, hey, each to his own
there.
