We hope that you will enter the tournament. 
Irene, you do not have to join freechess.org. 
Almost all the games are played on Skype. 
As the invitation says, you must have Skype, and you must join 
ftp-chess@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. 
When you have done these two things, enter the tournament.

  I am so pleased to meet 
 other chess players.  We can perhaps, work out the best
 method of joining this tournament.  
   I
 have tried several times to  fill out the  registration
 form  at  free chess.org
   There must be
 a problem with the  screen reader  as I do not seem to be
 getting back the  access code  from Freechess.  Support
 was  not helpful.  As if, I am not  technology  smart
 enough to check the spam  folder in my  email?
 
 Did you complete the  Handley
 Institute  Chess course?  A  really good  learning
 program.  I think it is expected to be  a six months
 course  that  I completed in five years.  That should
 classify  me as a slow learner?  
 
  I would appreciate  any insights that you
 have  Louis on our success  in joining on line
 tournaments.

Chess Parlor Tournament.

 You arrange to play
your   games at a

 can work around

You will be put in a class of up
 to
six
players of
 roughly equal skill.
You play each of
 the other players in
your class.
If you are in a class of six players,
you will play five games over about
eleven weeks.

A game usually lass a couple of 
hours.
