Please find below important information about new NRF PhD scholarships (starting in 2014), and submission and registration for MSc. Regards Victoria From: "Amy Wooding" <Amy.Wooding@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: 05 February 2014 at 11:57:21 SAST To: "" <fabiteam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [fabiteam] For those finalising their MSc Dear All If you have received an NRF bursary for your PhD, but will need to register for MSc to hand in this year please note the following; 1. If your final submission is not done by 15 February you need to register for MSc this year. 2. When you receive your NRF acceptance letter it will say you have 30 days to register for PhD and confirm your acceptance of the scholarship, or it will be canceled. This is obviously not possible if you are registered for MSc. 3. To ensure you don't lose the award, please go to the postgrad bursary desk at the CSC and explain when you anticipate starting your PhD. If it is before July/August, they will contact the NRF and get you an extension on accepting the scholarship.
