Salut,
Va reamintesc ca marti avem un program special. Incepand cu ora 15:00 va fi
un Google Tech Talk [1] la care prezenta este obligatorie. Probabil ca vor
dori sa va cunoasca si pe voi, incepand cu ora 13:00. Ar fi frumos si util
sa avem niste lucruri de aratat, fiecare pe proiectul la care lucrati si cei
care ma ajuta la scoala de vara au extra bonus points pentru aplicatii
pentru bootcamp.

Getting Directions in Google Maps

Getting directions is one of the most important features in Google Maps. We
use advanced routing algorithms in very large graphs: the road network of
the world (for driving, walking and biking directions), and large public
transportation networks. In this talk I will present some of the
state-of-the-art routing algorithms, and talk about what we do in Directions
at Google. If you are an algorithms or technology enthusiast, this talk is
for you.
