I walked Ford's Pond today. Highlights:
at least 1 Purple Martin
2 LB Dowitchers
3 Least Sandpipers
1 Western Sandpiper
1 Spotted Sandpiper
2 CASPIAN TERNS
2 HERRING GULLS
1 Northern Harrier
2 Osprey
1 Bald Eagle
1 Sora
non-Bird Highlights
3 White-Tailed Deer (fawn colored, massive white tails)
1 Striped Skunk
2 Ticks crawling up my leg
A quick stop at Agate Lake yielded:
1 American Bittern calling from the reeds on the north end by the gravel
turnaround which is past the parking lot and pavilions
1 Spotted Sandpiper
1 Western Kingbird
